若松文

芽生えて間もない若い松を意匠化したもの。松はどんなに痩せた土地でも芽を出し成長する生命力や、千年もの寿命があり、四季を通じて葉の色が変わらないことから、吉祥の象徴とされてきました。特に若松は、新鮮で希望に満ち溢れた植物として、おめでたいものとされています。

Wakamatsu-mon （Young Pine pattern） 

This design features young pine trees that have just sprouted. Pine has been regarded as an auspicious symbol because it has the vitality to sprout and grow in even the most infertile soil, has a lifespan of 1000 years, and has needles that do not change color throughout the four seasons. Young pine, in particular, is celebrated as a fresh plant brimming with hope.
