狸

昔話にも頻繁に登場し、日本人にとって親しみの深い狸は、その名前から「他抜」（他を抜く）に通じ、その文様には、何事においても人より抜きん出る、という意味が込められています。商売繁盛や学業成就など、縁起を担ぐ人々に重宝されてきた、華やかで可愛らしい文様です。
